Folly Guitars is a small UK-based guitar shop built around a simple idea:
Thoughtful instruments, honestly presented.
Every guitar we sell is carefully inspected, properly set up, and described plainly - including any wear, marks, or quirks. You’ll always know what you’re buying, what condition it’s in, and what work has been carried out before it leaves us.
What “honestly presented” means
- Clear descriptions. No hype, no vague claims.
- Real photographs. Well-lit images that show both condition and character.
- Proper setup. Every guitar is set up for good playability prior to sale.
- Transparency. Any work carried out, adjustments made, or limitations present are stated clearly.
Our aim is simple: you should be able to buy with confidence, without guesswork.
Our approach
We focus on instruments that feel good to play and are worth owning - whether that’s a clean, ready-to-go guitar or something with character that makes it a great platform for future upgrades.
Each guitar is treated as an individual instrument, not a commodity.
Setup & repairs
In addition to selling guitars, Folly Guitars offers setup and repair services for customer-owned instruments.
If you have a guitar you’d like to improve, adjust, or bring back into playing condition, we’re happy to help. These services are offered separately and tailored to the instrument and player, rather than applied by default.
